15 years ago, POSCO's story began with my old sewing machine next to my drafting table.
GASTÓN, THE FOUNDER OF POSCO, TELLS US HOW THE STORY BEGAN IN CHACO.
ABOUT POSCO
One night, while building a model in my room –a space smaller than an elevator, barely fitting my sewing machine, my architectural drawing board, and my dreams– I looked at my sneakers. They were comfortable, but ugly. Very ugly. Plus, they had a Union Jack that said nothing about me. Tired, curious, and wanting to do something better, I grabbed a knife and took them apart. That's how POSCO was born: from the desire to understand, to do, to create something authentic that really worked.
Since then, we've learned a key lesson: never stop trying. Because things worth doing don't always work out on the first try, but that's where the challenge lies. Luxury is not material; it's time. It's making mistakes, learning, and starting over. It's that long after-dinner conversation, the hug that takes your breath away. It's walking your own path. It's seeing the challenge and going for it. It's doing.
At POSCO, we make things that last, starting with shoes that don't follow trends, they transcend them. Every stitch, every detail, tells a story of effort, pride, and authenticity. We don't make fast fashion; we make products that stay with you for life.
We are from Chaco, from the sung truco, from the pickup game goal. We create for those who create, for those who live with passion, for the children and grandchildren who want to wear something made with conviction. We believe in education as a driver of change, which is why we support a kindergarten in Chaco, to give back to our community everything it has given us.
At POSCO, we believe that life is about trying, falling, and getting back up. Because living well, with style and without complications, is RE POSCO. And because things made with passion are impossible to stop.
