We are passionate about food, but above all about chefs and their stories, and Fer is
one of our favorites.
For many, the best in Argentina; for us,
an ENERGETIC who never ceases to inspire us.

For him, it all started in his grandmother's kitchen. Her hands cooking, creating, mixing ingredients were the foundation of his passion, leading him to study gastronomy at the age of 18. He trained with culinary giants in Argentina, such as Gato Dumas and Francis Mallmann, and at just 22 years old, he dared to open his first restaurant, an innovative proposal that marked a before and after in the Buenos Aires culinary scene.

Our roots always present!

Not content with this, he decided to risk everything to go to New York. Without papers and without knowing English, he took charge of the kitchen at Van Damme. In case you're not aware, Van Damme was one of countless celebrity fans. There, he cooked for personalities like Bowie, Eric Clapton, Robert de Niro, and more.

100% LATINX, 100% IMMIGRANT, 100% PROACTIVE

Eager for more and answering the call of his roots, he decided to return to Buenos Aires to open Sucre. Then he inaugurated Orilla, a success in the Belgrano neighborhood that also has a version in Miami. Mostrador Santa Teresita, in José Ignacio and Montauk, our favorite place to go in the summer.

Having said all this, we never imagined we would become lifelong brothers once Paquirri, our spiritual guru and guide who always introduces us to talented people, brought us together. Fernando may have many titles, restaurants, books, TV shows, and more, but he still remains true to his core values and the simplicity, kindness, and passion he learned when it all began in his grandmother's kitchen.

Thanks, Fer, for always opening your doors to us and letting us be part of your incredible world. We'll never forget that you used to wear @grenson :) and we can't wait for our next collaborators and the next PEÑA!
