SUN PROJECT

  • The goal of this project is to provide disadvantaged rural women and their families with access to health and education. We believe that by addressing these two fundamental needs, we can give women the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and discrimination.

  • That is why, together with the SIPAS Foundation, we have delivered 100 pairs of espadrilles to different communities settled in San Victoria Este, a rural town in northern Argentina, so that they could participate in the first Intercommunity Volleyball Tournament, a sport of great interest to the community and a source of integration and empowerment.

  • The espadrilles were made by a group of highly vulnerable and invisible women living in Buenos Aires neighborhoods, who have been specially trained to learn how to make footwear.

The goal of this program is to ensure that every woman with the motivation and disposition to create products for sale has the necessary tools and materials to succeed in the workplace and beyond.
